Toxicodendron quercifolium/ Rhus toxicodendron

Plantae -> Magnoliophyta -> Magnoliopsida / Dicotyledonae -> Rosidae -> Sapindales -> Anacardiaceae -> Toxicodendron quercifolium/ Rhus toxicodendron

SubstanCe Abbreviation Systematics
Toxicodendron quercifolium/ Rhus toxicodendron
Poison Oak
Rhus-t Anacardiaceae
Counted as one species by some botanists with T.diversiloba and T.radicans, but seems to have different medical use. Since these species are botanically difficult to distinguish, there is the possibility that the tree proved as Rhus-t was really Rhus radicans, which is much more common. (G. Madaus, S.2318) Hahnemann see both species as one.
Toxicodendron pubescens, engl.: Poison Ivy; Rhus radicans (Hahnemann)
